Safari bug with media plugin
by Joe Wickert - Monday, 30 January 2017, 6:36 AM

HI,

Think I've just hit a bug with Safari Version 10.0.2 (11602.3.12.0.1) on El Capitan.

With accessibility turned on, the media player breaks tabbing navigation. The media window is highlighted but the play/cc buttons can't be activated and pressing tab again takes the user out of the page into the Safari bookmark bar.

Means that any components after the Media player can't be accessed with keyboard.

I hit the issue in the Authoring Tool. But just replicated with a fresh install of the demo course using CLI.

I can't play or navigate past the video with keyboard only.

Safari version 9 is fine.

Not sure where to post an issue (ally.js or adapt-contrib-media).

Also I can't seem to see the issue link for the adapt projects on github? Should be next to the "code" tab shouldn't it?

Thanks

Joe

Hi Joe

You'll find the issues link in bower.json - we keep all the issues in the framework repo so that we can keep them all together.

Thanks Matt. I'll report the issue there.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else can replicate the same issue.
