Compile serverless version?
by Rob Mausser - Friday, 11 January 2019, 9:53 PM

A client of ours wants to be able to show their courses without internet access and is not savvy enough to know how to run WAMP on their computer and set that up.

They are asking for a file of the course like an .exe that could just be clicked and run on their laptop to show to potential investors etc.

I don't think this is possible because of how the adapt core is basically entirely javascript, but I thought I would ask:

is it possible to compile adapt in a way that you can run the build locally without any kind of server setup?

Thanks

You don't need to use WAMP (which is fairly technical); something like Fenix is much easier to use.

If you only need to run it locally on Windows then you can use https://github.com/cgkineo/adapt-standalone
