Accessibility auto-scroll
by Bill Randall - Saturday, 19 January 2019, 11:41 AM

Hi Matt,

I've installed a fresh version of the ADAPT framework today (3.4.0).

If I go to 'Presentation Components' (co-5) and turn on Accessibility, I'm auto-scrolled down to the narrative component halfway down the page.  The problem goes away if I replace the narrative with another component type.

Any ideas???

Thanks!

Bill

Hi Bill

Please see https://github.com/adaptlearning/adapt_framework/issues/2330

I would strongly recommend that, if accessibility is important, you wait a day (or two) until we release Adapt v4 as that's had an enormous amount of work done on accessibility.

If you need a quick fix you could switch back to Narrative v2.1.0 - it would mean you'd get this issue but that's the sort of bug that's only likely to happen when you get a QA person deliberately trying to break the course ;-)

Thanks Matt, I'll wait for v4.

Really appreciate all the work being done on accessibility!

Hopefully you'll now have seen from my forum post that v4 is out now.

In addition we've fixed that issue on narrative for v3 users, see narrative v3.0.2.
