Adapt Learning Community: Blocks access due to cross-origin frame on adapt-social extension

I tried to use adapt-social extension to embed Gitter within the Adapt course.
But due to upgrade in security patch in all the browsers, the extension is no longer useful.
The issue has already been raised on GitHub. Link

Is their any other plugin available similar to adapt-social extension?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I'm not sure how using a different extension will help - if Gitter has set X-Frame-Options to deny there's no working around that.

You could try https://sidecar.gitter.im/ as an alternative?
