Logfile

Hello community

I have installed and running the Adapt authoring tool. Everything works fine.

After a few days, the frontend was not accessible anymore. In the Grunt CLI there was no error message. I would like to check the log files, but don’t know where they are stored.

Can someone please help me with this?

Many thanks and regards

Markus

To clarify my question: I'm using the Adapt Authoring Tool. And I would like to check the logfiles to find out, why the Adapt Authoring Tool didn't work anymore.

Thanks!

Hi Markus,

you can check logs on commandline after you run Authoring Tool.

Hi Ailiniyazi,

thanks for your reply. There was nothing about an error or crash in the command line. Is that the only possibility or is there a log file which ist stored somewhere?

Hi Markus, To be honest, I don't know if there is other logfile in Authoring Tool. Usually I can see Errors on Command Line or on Authroing Tool like the screenshot I attached.

I had once also similar problem. In my case, dashboard was working but front page wasn't. My problem was I updated Start settings and forgot to update Start List ID. My solution was copy the new ID of page and update Start settings.

You can find Start Settings from

Dashboard > Course structure > Project settings
