Viewing Course Folder Directory - Windows Server Installation of Adapt Builder

Hi All,

I have finally managed to install the Adapt Authoring Builder by following the Server Installations Instructions here:

https://github.com/adaptlearning/adapt_authoring

We are running this on a server on a local network, Windows 2008 Server. Now, we are trying to use a WebObject Plugin disscussion in this thread:

https://community.adaptlearning.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=941

Installation of the plugin was no problem. But now, we have run into another issue, in order to include the external EdgeAnimate content, I need to put the content into the course folder structure. However, I cannot for the life of me find the course folders on the Server. Someone suggested that this was because MongoDB encrypts all the data from my Adapt Builder instance? Not sure. I have tried searching the entire computer for the course name I specified in Builder. nope....

Using the Vagrant Ubunutu installation method worked. When then installed a Ubuntu GUI to see the Course folders, that worked too. When trying to include the EA content into the course we realised the folder was locked, so by using - sudo terminal commands - changed permissions to the course folders then was able to include the EA content into 'course\src\en' (as discussed in https://community.adaptlearning.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=941). The problem here was once we changed the permissions, Adapt Builder would not load any longer. Hence why we have now tried the Windows 2008 server installation.

1. Can someone please explain how can I include external EdgeAnimate content into a course using the Adapt Builder on Windows Server.

2. Can someone please explain why I cannot see the folder structure of the Adapt Builder Courses that I create.

3. Can someone please explain why the Ubuntu Vagrant installation courses has permission restrictions.

I would very much appreciate some insight into these technical difficulties.

Thank you
