It means it hasn't yet been set up for use with the authoring tool.

In order to be compatible with the authoring tools, plugins need to have a file called properties.schema.

I've logged a ticket about this but I can't confirm when someone will be able to look at this.

In the meantime, you can use this plugin if you work directly with the framework - or you could have a go at creating a properties.schema yourself?
