Is this any way to install Adapt (Standalone/Vagrant) without using the script? 

I watch a bunch of little errors (wrong version/ wrong file/ wrong key)  go by until the thing finally aborts telling me that the requested file is not a git repository.

It is a bit daunting trying to debug something that aborts on line 800.
