Adapt authoring tool 0.4.1 release candidate available, please test!

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR TL;DR: Please be aware that this is beta software, and should not be used in production for the time-being.

The more eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that we tagged a release candidate for the authoring tool last week - v0.4.1-rc.1. This release represents two months of hard work bug-fixing and making performance enhancements on top of v0.4.0.

We're now at a point in our testing where we'd like to encourage anyone in the community to lend a hand with testing efforts (more testing now means a more stable product for you!). See below for some quick instructions.

Before using the beta code, please ensure you back-up your existing authoring tool data, or start afresh with a new DB/code-base.

  • Pull the code from git tagged v0.4.1-rc.1
  • Run npm install && grunt build:prod
  • Log any issues you find to github, following our guidelines
