This extension hasn't been updated for Adapt v5 compatibility.

With the release of Adapt v5 it was necessary to introduce a lot of 'breaking changes'. You can read more about that in this post.

The upshot of this is that most plugins had to be updated to support Adapt v5, so you should always check first whether a plugin you are trying to use has been updated. Easiest method is to look in the plugin's bower.json and check what the framework setting is. It needs to be set to >=5 (or similar).

I would also recommend that, as a general rule, you should always check a third party plugin to see when it was last modified. This will give you an idea of how well supported/maintained it is. Obviously it's your call but I would suggest that - unless you have the development experience to resolve any issues you might find yourself - you avoid using plugins that haven't been updated in a few years.
