I am having an issue with permissions when publishing and previewing. I wanted to set my environment where all persons logging in are in the same user group. So, in my scenario all of the adapt_authoring files are owned by root but belong to "author-data" group. I added me as a user to that group then started the node server as myself - not root. Not sure why I would be having a permissions issue when I am part of that group with the appropriate access "rw" for that group.
