There's nothing 'gamey' on the immediate open-source roadmap, but there will hopefully be a few assessment enhancements coming fairly soon. We're also in the early stages of building an xAPI plugin, which will open doors for a lot of popular gamified features such as leaderboards.

If there's something specific you're looking for, please submit a request for it (and try to get some support for it if possible), so we can prioritise this in the future (and if you have any resource to develop this yourself, we're more than willing to provide you with support and extra hands).
