Adapt Learning Community: Google Polymer

So Google's Polymer was recently brought to my attention:

Looks attractive. Before I dedicate more time to it, I thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience with it. Know of any reasons why it would be a poor/good fit for Adapt?

I'm not familiar with it but it looks interesting, I will have more of a look when I have time.

Lack of support for IE8/9 is an obvious disadvantage at the moment - but becoming less of a disadvantage every month ;-)
