A problem with chrome and safari
by LU Zakk - Friday, 19 February 2016, 8:53 AM

Hello !

I download my course, and I can open the "Index.html" with Firefox. But Safari and Chrome, i can't open any page with them. It's always " Loading ".

Some one has the same problem ? Do u have any solutions for this ?

Thank u very much !

Are you running the course offline? Chrome and safari restrict locally-run files for security reasons.

Like Tom mentioned, you cannot open the index from the course in Chrome or Safari. You can preview. (make sure your browser allows pop-ups!)

If you want to run the index.html, you need to use FireFox.

Yes, I do have the same problems! It seems to be a different understanding by the browsers how to load local files.

1) Chrome does'nt like the @import url(//fonts.googleapi.com/css...) at the begenning of adapt.css

2) There is another error when trying to load tje local course/config.json...

Good luck!

thank you very much

i am not very good in coding, so i find this is a little bit harder for me to debug all these problems....
