issues uploading plugins via authoring tool
by nigel delgaudio - Thursday, 3 March 2016, 4:46 PM

I am trying to upload a component via the plugin manager in the authoring tool. I have downloaded a few plugins from github (via this site) and all seem to have the same error.

[I click 'choose file' > navigate to/select nameofplugin.zip > then click upload] I then get this msg:

any help would be awesome. thanks

Well, that particular plugin hasn't been set up for the authoring tool (it also hasn't been updated in 2 years so may not work with the current v2 version of Adapt)

We are looking to set up the plugin search on this site so that you can search only for plugins that are AT-compatible - in the meantime you can check just by going to the plugin's github repository and looking to see if it contains a file called 'properties.schema'

Yup that was the issue. I'll pay closer attention to the file list next time.

Thanks

Is it worth putting a message to that effect in the plugin browser so people do not waste time trying to work out why plugins are not uploading?
