Adapt Learning Community: Offline installation for server behind a firewall

Hi,

I'm in a bit of a pickle...

Essentially, I'm trying to install Adapt onto a Server in my VM (vSphere) environment.

My server and system environment is guarded by various UTM (Firewall appliances).

I can't install Adapt onto this VM because it requires an internet connection.

I can't turn off these firewall appliances because they protect the "Intellectual property" (IP) of the business from unauthorised access.

Is there a specific process for offline installation that does not require any communication with the internet/github?

Hi Andrew,

this is possible. All you would need to do is download all the needed resources onto say USB, then instead of grabbing the required packages from the internet, just install it from your USB or which ever medium you have access to that you can use.
