Server install failing

Hi,

I am trying to install the authoring tool on a windows 2012 server. I am running into an issue installing adapt-cli with errors indicating that it cannot connect to github. I was however successful at cloning adapt from the github and installing grunt-cli.

I have noticed others had run into this issue as well, however cannot find any actual resolutions.

Would anyone know why it's stalling at the adapt-cli install?

Never mind, i figured it out. 

I needed to force connections to be http and not git. For anyone experiencing the same issue, here is what I ran to resolve the adapt-cli install issue:

git config --global url."https://".insteadOf git://
