Authoring Env - Remove Article and Block Titles
by Mark D'Aquin - Tuesday, 13 September 2016, 1:21 PM

When working in the authoring environment how do you remove article and block titles? These are required fields when working in the environment which is interesting because in the Adapt demo and most course samples these are not shown. I would like for people using the authoring environment to have the option to leave it off. Can this be done?

Also, if left off will the padding between components be adjusted?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Our team has done that (leaving titles out), but we did have an own theme that adjusts the padding. Which was a while ago not done in the vanilla theme.

Were you able to remove titles in the authoring environment or did you have to dig into the code? Because I would like the authors of the course be able to do this themselves and not rely on someone to dig into the code. I am not sure I understand why this is required especially since they are not showing titles in the Adapt demo.

If you do not fill in the "Display title" part, it keeps it empty. Can be done in the authoring tool. No need for json file tweeks.
