King’s College London, in cooperation with the Adapt open source project, is pleased to announce the inaugural Adapt Meetup London to be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 1pm to 6pm — all are invited!
There has been much talk over the past 6 months about organising an Adapt community gathering: a time for sharing, learning, and socialising; for getting to know other like-minded Adapt people as well as introducing new faces to everything Adapt can offer. Given our central London location and ample facilities, we at King’s College London realised that we are perfectly placed to host this event.
There will be two tracks for the meetup. Adapt community member for those of you who are already familiar with how Adapt works. Here we will have various talks and panels about using Adapt. Then there is Adapt newcomer for those of you who have been waiting for the right chance to jump in. We will be covering the basics of Adapt and how to create your first Adapt course. More information regarding the schedule will be available in the following weeks, but you can book your free ticket through Eventbrite today. There are only a limited amount available so book now!
We are still looking for volunteers, speakers and panelists for the event. If you or your organisation would be interested in being represented at this event, please register your interest by either posting below, posting a message in the Adapt Meetup London Gitter room or contacting me directly at simon.date@kcl.ac.uk. If you can’t join us live the sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the Adapt Youtube channel.

Thank you on behalf of King’s College London and the Adapt community -- we look forward to meeting you at the event!
