Upgrade Existing Adapt Course to the Latest Adapt Version

Hi. We have a number of courses that are on earlier versions of the Adapt 2.0 framework (not authoring tool) and are looking for the proper steps to upgrade each course to the latest version without destroying all the work that has been done on each course. The majority of the posts in the forum are about upgrading the authoring tool, not specifically the framework.

What is the best way to go about updating each course non-destructively?

Although you can do an in-place upgrade, it's probably safer (and easier) to create a brand new course via $ adapt create course then copy your content from the old course into the new.
