Open text input component

Hi, 

I'm using an open text input component. When I preview the course I see a "submit" button. 

 

However, when I have viewed showcase courses I have noticed that they include a "save", "clear" and "submit" button. 

 

Could someone please tell me how to enable these buttons.

Could you be more specific about which showcase course(s) you saw this in?

Hi Stuart,

That course is using an old version of the Open Text Input.  

Some time ago it was re-worked in line with the regular question components, so it uses the same buttons.  Also, the auto-save functionality was added in response to user feedback.
