https deployment issue

hi,

Just re-authored a project we did originally in Captivate due to Adobe's awful accessibility support. Working with Adapt was a breeze, and the support from this community has been amazing.

Our client is having an issue deploying the finished course, even though it works fine on our servers, SCORM cloud and Moodle.

They are getting security certificate warnings that seem to prevent course/config.json loading.

Screenshot attached, any suggestions about how to troubleshoot this?

Is it a windows server setup issue?

thx

joe

Hi Joe

Not sure about the HTTPS issue but you might want check that your clients server has JSON MIME type enabled.

This post has some more info.

Yeah I agree with Dan you need to check that the JSON mime-type is correctly defined on your server.

The certificate warnings are unrelated.

You should look into the certificate warnings though - SHA-1 has been considered unsafe for some time now and I think browsers like Chrome are going to start either showing much sterner warnings or actually block access altogether.
