Adapt Learning Community: Captions

Hi, I have set up captions thru the Adapt Authoring tool and when I preview the course locally (using the Preview button in the Authoring tool) I can see the cc button and the captions display properly. But when I download the course and upload it to a web server for playback, the cc button does not display. Is there something else I need to do to see the captions in the downloaded course.

Any suggestions?

That's odd... no, there shouldn't be anything else you have to do - in the course, anyway.

The only thing that springs to mind is that the web server you are testing from doesn't have the MIME type for .vtt files defined. Is it a Microsoft (IIS) web server by any chance? They do often seem to lack MIME types that are configured by default on other web servers.
