Hello Everyone,
let me introduce a new extension you may find useful in your courses: "Adapt Notes".
Adapt Notes is an extension to enable students to take notes about the course contents. The Notes extension displays in the drawer panel, as for Resources.
You can download the Adapt Notes extension here as a zip file, then upload it into the Adapt Authoring tool.
Please play with Notes extension on this sample course.

I did notice that both the .notes and .html export of my note were missing all spaces

Actually was I small bug I fixed and now it's working fine on my dev environment. May be a cross browser issue.
Can you tell me what's you OS and browser?

I just checked it... the sample course is an export from the Authoring tool. I just made a version update in the bower.json and I have updated the plugin by uploading it again in the authoring. There in the list of extensions I see the new version number. By the way when the authoring runs the course preview, the old version of the extension is included in it.
I have to investigate more, anyway the plugin is updated on git, if you want to try to upload it in the authoring.
