I'm wondering where the Adapt authoring tool is with regard to whole-course export and import. I've read the community's stated goals for this functionality, and would love to know if there's a build of the authoring tool in which whole courses can be exported and imported. Thank you!

The import/export of whole courses is still a work in progress.
You can find the latest work on github at https://github.com/adaptlearning/adapt_authoring/pull/1630
You are free to checkout this branch and start using it, but I would strongly suggest that you don't use it in production yet as it is still being developed and has some bugs.
