Hi Ben, have you looked what the Trickle extension can do? Or look at https://www.adaptlearning.org/index.php/plugin-browser/ for more optional plugins.

You can lock pages and sub menus too. In the authoring tool this is called “Menu lock type”. There are a number of options sich as “sequential“ where pages Must be completed in order, “lockLast” where the last page is locked until the others are complete, or “custom” allowing you to set your own rules.
