Adapt Learning Community: module.js:538 throw err

At the very end of the Adapt Authoring Tool install I get the error message below. I'm running a Mac, OSX 10.13.2, node v8.9.3, npm 5.5.1, ffmpeg version 3.4.1, and mongodb version v2.6.12. I'm very new to this please leave detailed instructions on the command line entries to correct this hiccup. Thank you in advance for any help or assistance you might provide.

The installation instructions specify that you should be on Node v6...

Uninstall node v8.9 and re install v6 (http://stackabuse.com/how-to-uninstall-node-js-from-mac-osx/)

It worked for me but now I am getting other errors.
