adapt create course error

Hi all

I've just set up the Adapt dev environment on a new Windows 10 laptop using the instructions here and have hit an issue running adapt create course. It's the third machine I've installed the environment on and haven't had any problems until now. I followed the same procedures and didin't notice any errors in the console during install.

However, the first time I ran adapt create course an error said it couldn't find the users/myusername/.adapt folder. So I used mkdir to generate it (and the tmp folder within it) and all went smoothly after that (see error1.gif).

The next time I ran adapt create course I got an almost identical error, even though the .adapt folder now exists (see error2.gif).

Does anyone have an idea of what's happening and what I should do next?

I have noticed of late that about every other time the adapt create course fails with what I think is a similar/identical error. I just run it again and it usually then works.
