Any other way to install Adapt Framework?

I am on a Mac OS Sierra (10.12.6). I get to the point in the Adapt-cli installation where I do "adapt create course". I then get an error (Oh dear, something went wrong. I'm terribly sorry. Cannot read property 'split' of null)

Is there any way around this or another way that I can install? I can't get past this error. I've already logged a bug report.

yes - you could try the manual installation method

Equally adapt-cli v2.1.1 should fix the problem, could you try and let us know? You can upgrade by running npm update -g adapt-cli
