Supported Node version
by Thomas Barna - Friday, 25 January 2019, 2:59 PM

Hi,

In the AT changelog for version 0.5.0 it says:
"We're also switching our Node.js support strategy to only include the current active LTS release of Node.js"

As of today the current active is 10.15.0 (npm 6.4.1)

However, in the github document adaptlearning/adapt_authoring/wiki/Install-on-Server it says:
"The authoring tool supports Node.js v8.x. Please ensure your machine matches this, as you will experience compatibility issues otherwise!"

So my question is if I should go for the current active LTS or version 8. I am doing a fresh install.

Thanks,
Thomas

Hey Thomas

Going by this ticket it sounds like Node v10 should be fine - and it's just that the documentation is out of date.
