Adapt in the Totara Community
by Jordan Ash - Wednesday, 18 March 2020, 12:24 PM

We've been using Adapt in the Totara Community for the past three years to create content to teach people how to use our software.

We use Adapt scenarios and tutorials as part of a larger course alongside videos, system simulations, quizzes and more.

Here are some examples of what we produce with adapt:

Learning plans in practice from the course Learning plans.

Reporting in Totara Learn from the course Reports.

Being dynamic with Totara Learn from the course Audiences.

Let me know if you have any questions about anything we have built and I'll do my best to answer them.

Nice! Though the direct links seem a bit troublesome, I got the first one to work OK but then had to log in to get the others to open - but once I'd done that all three started throwing errors... but now have stopped? Weird.

You are using quite an old version of Adapt in your authoring tool (Adapt v2.something.quite.old) - you might consider looking at updating to something more recent, in particular for:

  • vastly improved accessibility (v4 or better)
  • no redundant IE8 compatibility code (v3 or better)

Naturally we @ Kineo LOVE Totara ;-)
