HI - im trying to add cations to my courses and I cant seem to get them working....
I have built a VTT file that the web validator confirms is OK but I have tried adding it at block and component level and it just wont work - any ideas??

When you say you've 'tried adding it at block and component level' what do you mean by that? The media component is the only one that has support for displaying .vtt files.
Also it really helps if, when asking questions like this, you state whether you are using the Authoring Tool or the Framework - and which version.
Ahh - thanks for that. Sorry about the lack of info im a bit new to this forum and the authoring tool.
I was trying to add the captions to a hot graphic component - looking at the details in the media component it all becomes a bit clearer. I will have a look at trying to use the animate feature to space out the way instructions are shown over a hot graphic
