Reset button in open text input does not work.

Hi,

I am using AT with Framework V4.

When I used open-text-input component the reset button did not work.

I want learner to enter couple of lines and then save it for next visit to refer. Currently learner can enter text but on saving/submit the text box and button gets disabled.

There is a button label for Reset button but the button never displays on screen.

Is there any way to keep them enabled or show reset button to make them enabled?

Hi Saral

The openTextInput plugin is one of Learning Pool's. Hopefully one of them can respond, if not you might consider logging an issue if you think it's not working as intended or a feature request if you think it should work differently.

Hi Saral,

The inclusion of the reset button in the component is actually an oversight and was inherited from other question models. However, there is no setting to allow for more than one attempt which is the reset button does not actually work.

There is no functionality in the component that will allow you to store and then re-present the text later and we don't currently have any plans to modify it to do this.
