[Boxmenu] Make the whole menu-item clickable
by Christian Wehle - Wednesday, 13 May 2020, 2:12 PM

Hi guys,

I got multiple feedbacks to the menu of my created e-learning (startup.bockaufkarlsruhe.de): The people would love to have the whole menu-items clickable to enter a module, not just via the small button.

Is there any easy way to achieve this?

I would be very happy about some help.

Kind regards,

Chris

Hey Chris. I've been using custom css to achieve this if you're comfortable with this kind of solution. Based on your boxmenu it would be something like this:

.menu-item__inner.boxmenu-item__inner {

position: relative;

}

.menu-item__button-container.boxmenu-item__button-container {

position: absolute;

width: 100%;

height: 100%;

top: 0;

left: 0;

}

.btn-text.menu-item__button.boxmenu-item__button.js-btn-click {

background-color: transparent;

color: transparent;

width: 100%;

height: 100%;

}
