Have you seen the material on Github?

I've recently been working on my own extension and found that the framework source code was quite easy to read, once I understood the use of Backbone models and views. I worked heavily from an existing extension of which are there are several good examples, so they are definitely worth looking through.

Hey Roi,

Following on from Ben's advice - if you look at the resources plugin here, and read through the source code - this should give you an idea for developing an extension. If you want to build a component I'd suggest looking at the narrative which you can find here.
