Test post to see if email subscription to forum is working. I seem to have stopped receive emails from this forum a few months ago and realized just now I haven't been getting my Adapt updates!

Okay.. confirmed for some reason I am not receiving email anymore, even though I've unsubscribed and re-subscribed.

Hi Mathew,

thanks for flagging this.

Just to confirm from our side, the system still sends emails (I am receiving mine) and you are subscribed to this forum. This sounds like the mails may be being caught before they reach you. Do you know of there is a spam filter involved somewhere? As an alternative, temporary test, you might try and change your email address (in case you have access to multiple ones)...

Everything looks ok at our end. Hope you'll be able to work this one out.

Thank you for looking into this Sven! I've updated my settings to also enable popups and I've now changed my email address to my personal one rather than work one. Will see if that helps things. I did receive the confirmation email at my personal email address.

As an aside, I think your current Moodle theme makes it hard for a person to change their own email address..Since you've hidden the Administration/Settings block on the default profile page, (https://community.adaptlearning.org/user/profile.php?id=182) the normal Moodle structure for this is not available when a person clicks on their name in the top right.

It's only available for the course-specific profile, ie: https://community.adaptlearning.org/user/view.php?id=182&course=2 or on the course home page here: https://community.adaptlearning.org/course/view.php?id=2

but not on the my home page: https://community.adaptlearning.org/my/index.php

or the home page as a whole: https://community.adaptlearning.org/

Confirmed digest works for my personal email address. It must be something in the routing to my work email address or the corporate spam filter blocking it. Will switch it back and keep investigating.

Looks like it's an SPF misconfiguration, my work place rejects email when the SPF checks are failed. I will send you the details via email as it may contain sensitive information.
