autofill responses into question stems

Hello--I'm wondering if there is a way autofill the text response to one question into the stem of a separate question, for example:  

Question 1.  What is your name?

                    Response 1. Jules

Question 2. Jules, how are you today?

Yes there is a way but it would involve creating a custom question component to do this - I don't think I've seen existing component that does this.
