Is it possible to mark some components to not be included in the page level progress? I tried marking certain items as optional but they still show up in the list. E.g. we have an image and a paragraph and each shows up in the page level progress. It seems like a bit of overkill to include every single component.

Hi sherri, do you mean the part of the settings in the Component:
That should be enough, we have done that for many courses for the same reason, text or question on one side, graphic on the other, and only 1 of the two is tracked.
But you also should have PLP enabled at block level!

Yes absolutely. If you could state whether you are using the Authoring Tool or the Framework I can tell you how to make this change (it's a good idea to include this information plus which version(s) you are using whenever posting here).
