Is it possible for content and assessments made with the Adapt e-learning authoring tool to pass grades back automatically to an LMS?
I'm also wondering which versions of SCORM are compatible with Adapt e-learning.

Adapt can pass a score back to the LMS, if that's one you mean. Just the one - as SCORM only supports one score per SCO.
The authoring tool only supports SCORM 1.2 as that's by far the most commonly-used & widely-supported version. You can export your course from the authoring tool and manually change it to SCORM 2004.
