Fair accessibility assessment?
by Rob Mausser - Tuesday, 27 April 2021, 3:28 PM

We send our Adapt (4.4.0) courses to accessibility testing, and each time they come back with new issues that we never experienced from another accessibility tester, to core adapt components.

I'd love to hear some feedback on these issues. Are these legitimate concerns, or should we be finding a new accessibility tester. We are spending tons of money fixing issues with Adapt, when its purported to be fairly well WCAG 2.0 accessible.

Link to a Google Sheet with the accessibility review. Please note the tabs at the bottom

Here are some examples however:

"Collapsed state of button select course language is not defined." (Language Picker)

Tooltip is not provided for button select course language, course progress etc icons. (Navbar icons)

"Navigation links are not tagged in list."

"Name of next and previous button of carousel is insufficient." (Narrative Slider)

Could you post the relevant issues on github please?
