Problem registering plugin

I'm trying to learn how to register a plugin.

I duplicated the adapt-contrib-matching plugin, renamed it to adapt-matching-exserlan-sjs (and changed the bower.json details). The github repo is at https://github.com/adaptNYP/adapt-matching-exserlan-sjs

When I tried to register the plugin, I get the following messages:

adapt-register

? name adapt-matching-exserlan-sjs

? repository URL git://github.com/adaptNYP/adapt-matching-exserlan-sjs.git

? framework >=5

? Register now? Yes

Error: Tag/branch master does not exist

 

Can someone point out what I missed out / am doing wrong?

You need a `master` branch in your repo. Not `main`.

No you're not. I think github has just changed the default branch from `master` to `main`. So it is something we need to fix.
