Adapt Learning Community: Matching Question Component

Hello

We seem to have an issue with the Matching Component. Based on the attached screenshots, the first available answer always seems to be selected and visually appears to be selected even when hovering on the other answers.

If you click the initial drop down and then click away the first item is selected. This is quite confusing for the learner as it's not obvious what they are selecting.

Matching was fixed on this issue https://github.com/adaptlearning/adapt_framework/issues/2464 for the nvda screen reader, which is causing the symptoms you've described.

If you'd like a different soluction, can you put an issue on https://github.com/adaptlearning/adapt_framework/issues/ please?

We've updated the theme and this is working well.

Is it possible to link the Matching Options for each Matching item so a learner can never select the same answer?

That'd be a bit of custom work. It should be relatively straight forward although somewhat involved, that is as the drop down options cannot currently be removed or disabled once loaded.
