Adapt Learning Community: Adapt-homeButton alt label not applied to aria-label

Hi,

I've been looking at the adapt-homeButton extension this morning and it appears the latest version doesn't compile the alt text (aria-label) attribute. The default value is 'Home', however when previewing the course with a screen reader I noticed it is just announced as a link. The aria-label is present however it is empty and not taking the set value.

I've submitted an issue here; https://github.com/cgkineo/adapt-homeButton/issues/10 but if anyone knows a temporary fix that would be ideal.

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for the quick look at this. Unfortunately after updating to 1.0.1 I'm still seeing the same issue of no label:

I'm enabling the button at a page level;

In the authoring tool under configuration settings for the project; I've checked 'Enable control of the plugin'.

In the page settings, I've enabled the button at page level and hidden the back button.

Cheers Oliver, checked it on a test course and that works fine!

(Did have to use the force rebuild preview option to see the change, but it's definitely working now!).
