Adapt Authoring tool - Database error

Hi All 

I was on the process of setting up the Adapt authoring tool and encountered the following error during the 'create default tenant' tab. 

info: framework directory found, skipping installation /Users/mnedelko/adapt_course/adapt_authoring/adapt_framework

error: [Error: failed to connect to [localhost:27017]] ''

error: Database Connection failed, please check your database 

 

Any ideas how I could fix this would be highly appreciated.

Actually I figured it out. The error was due to:

 

1. Error in installing mongod database. 

2. Hadn't sent db folder with the following command 

mongod --dbpath <path to data directory>

Thank you for a great community. 

I love adapt and will start developing for it now :)
