Social media for Adapt Learning
by Paul McElvaney - Monday, 18 November 2013, 11:19 AM

I’ve started to pick up a few actions on this topic and will get to some more in due course.

Immediately I’ve started a Twitter page for Adapt Learning – we’re @adaptlearning and you can see us on https://twitter.com/AdaptLearning. I’ve kicked this off but am looking for volunteers to help keep the content fresh and up to date. I thought it’d be useful to outline a few objectives for having a twitter presence in this instance as follows:

  1. To increase our profile by following (and hopefully being followed by) some of the luminaries in the e-learning and edutech sectors
  2. To give us a platform for issuing project updates, press releases and the like
  3. To give us an opportunity to comment on developments in the wider tech space around responsive content, open source projects and so on

I’d like to keep control of the Twitter page to a fairly small group but if you would like to add this to your Twitter activity, please let me know. You’ll find me at paul[at]learningpool[dot]com or @mcelvaney on Twitter of course!

Thanks, Paul. I have also set up an organisation on LinkedIn at  http://www.linkedin.com/company/adapt-learning/ - in case anyone involved in an official capacity would like to add this to their profile.
