Firstly I'm a bit confused, I'm a learningPool customer and they have a 'live' version of the adapt builder running.

There's a few problems - who do I address them to LP or here?

Firstly every time I go into a block of text the builder removes any HTML I've added,

With or without using the tools in the editor or editing source by adding tags etc.

I've got some other stuff but lets see what happens with this one.
