The original version of the Adapt Framework picked up a coveted LearnX Platinum award for Best Learning Design Technology (listed as Kineo Pacific) in Australia earlier this year. The award went to Kineo Pacific in September and has made its way to the UK where we presented it to Kineo's Paul Welch and Daryl Hedley (the masterminds behind the Adapt Framework) last week.

Paul, Design Lead for the Adapt framework commented: "We only started development of the Adapt framework in late 2012 but we've already delivered fully responsive courses to over 30 of our (Kineo's) clients. We are really pleased with the progress made. Ending the year by winning the platinum award has been the icing on the cake."

Daryl Hedley, Adapt Framework Technical Lead added: "It's been a great pleasure to work on a product that enables users to learn across a variety of devices. A huge thank you to the team, who have worked extremely hard to get to where we are today. With the Adapt framework going open source, we are sharing our knowledge and product to see how far we can push e-learning collectively."

Our aim is to release the re-architected framework to the public in January 2014 and get as many developers and content producers to start using it for their own purposes and, hopefully, contribute back to this open source project.
