Navigation menu to jump between different parts (like in the demo)?
by Ulrich Kerzel - Tuesday, 13 October 2015, 6:58 AM

Dear all,

the demo at :
https://community.adaptlearning.org/demo/index.html#/page/m05/t05/p05

shows a menu on the top right which allows to jump between the various components / elements.
How is this done? I tried looking at the course downloaded by "adapt create course "name" " but this one doesn't have this menu included...

Many thanks

Ulrich

Have you tried to create a course yourself with Builder 0.1.2? Not the same arrow in the vanilla theme, but the list to the blocks is there.

It's called Page Level Progress. Every version of the framework will have this unless you explicitly remove it. It maybe that it just looks a bit different to the demo, which is based on a very old version of Adapt.

Dear Matt,

ha, indeed...

Admittedly I never clicked on it (not having read the docu properly I have to admit I didn't know I could...).

This also highlights that I should indeed add titles to  the components - as now of course the menu is blank...

Many thanks

Ulrich

Hi Ulrich,

Another thing you should be aware of is the trickle extension. If you have that on, then you cannot jump in the list. Turn it off, and you can open the PLP and jump around.
