If I want to show a software simulation would I bee able to contrive this with the Hot Graphic components?

Hi Simon,

I think you would need some kind of changing picture, that is something you can do in the Narrative. (but they fly in from right or left depending which way you progress or go back in the narrative)

Hi Simon,

It depends really on how 'interactive' you need the simulation to be. Some options are:

  • Show a video using the media component
  • Highlight points in a still-image using a hot graphic
  • Show different states using a narrative

You can see examples of each of these in the Adapt v2.0 demo.

Aside from these, you'll need to write a custom plugin. Captivate content has been embedded in Adapt in the past, but not without problems.

You might want to head over to the Responsive eLearning Forum, where the instructional designers hang out, as they might be able to offer more useful advice on presenting such content in Adapt.
