Hi Keith,

thanks for the post. Our authoring tool is not quite ready yet but the files that you will be able to export are standard dynamic HTML5 packages (i.e. a combination of HTML/JS/CSS). The plan is that you will be able to export these with and without tracking turned on. If tracking is turned on, then you will be able to choose the tracking standard, which could be SCORM or Tin Can. If tracking is turned off, then the packages would be a collection of files as described above, which you would be able to launch via an entry HTML page (e.g. index.html).

As long as the app you have can accommodate HTML/JS/CSS packages and play them back (e.g. via an embedded browser on the mobile device) our tool would probably meet your needs when it's ready.

Thanks Sven - that's a great help to know.

Does this apply to the desktop versions as well?

When do you expect the tool to be ready for trials/demo etc?

Many Thanks,

Keith

Hi Keith,

The idea is that we have 'single version' output, i.e. the same content package would work across mobile devices and desktop. This can be achieved nowadays and responsive design is one the the key principles behind it.

We're working towards opening the framework (code only - suitable for developers) before the end of the year and the authoring tool (first release - suitable for non-technical end users) by the end of March 2014. There is a little more info on these two pages:

Hope this helps and thanks for the interest!
